Eco-Kinetics signs formal license agreement for Portasol Solar Trackers

Eco-Kinetics has signed an exclusive license agreement with Portasol Trackers Ltd for manufacturing and distribution of the Portasol Solar Tracker range.

These innovative Solar Trackers use thermal expansion of a liquid as a motive force.

"We were intrigued by the simplicity of this Australian invention and could see the benefits and the huge potential of this technology in the global solar tracker market," says CEO, Edwin Cywinski.

"These systems promise to be the most cost effective solar trackers - both in initial investment and in through life cost"

Under the agreement eco-Kinetics undertakes to develop commercial scale solar trackers. System array sizes of up to 100m² are now on offer.

 Following the recent market launch for these trackers in Australia, eco-Kinetics intends to enter the North American and European market in early 2010.
