QUEENSLAND
The roles will report to the Head Office situated midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast
 
Sourcing Engineer
Your technical background in electrical and/or renewable energy technology enables you to evaluate suppliers and their renewable energy components. Keeping track of new developments and identifying new suppliers are amongst the core activities of this position.
Most importantly is the ability to negotiate supplier contracts, within Australia and overseas.  An applicant with a relevant trade qualification and work experience will be considered for the position.
 
Executive PA
Reporting to the Managing Director and National General Manager.   Must have previous experience in this role.   Be flexible and able to take on other tasks as required.

Design Engineer – Renewable Energy
Purpose of the Position

The Design Engineer is accountable to the Engineering Manager

S/he is responsible for the provision of:

  • Engineering design and drawings for renewable energy solutions ranging in size from domestic 1 kW roof mounted systems through to large MW hybrid power stations.
  • Preparing tender responses and formal quotation submissions
  • Technical aspects and budget control of existing and new projects
  • Project management for existing and new projects
  • Preparation of installation, maintenance and training manuals
  • On-site supervision and commissioning of new installations as required
  • Designated Sales activities and Customer contacts
  • Design for manufacture for equipment and integrated systems
  • Through life support and maintenance services management

Key Accountabilities

  • Initial system design and component selection
  • Support in detailed equipment design and component selection
  • Technical aspects for projects:
    • co-ordination between design, local subcontractors and clients
    • Establish and discuss technical solutions for new projects with clients
  • Project management:
    • co-ordination with clients and subcontractors
    • design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning
    • Completed on budget and compliant to specification
    • Testing and certification of new products and systems
